The reigns of the 56th Annual Parada del Sol are held by Dave Alford. Along with a committee of 30 volunteers, the team will spend nearly a year planning a full month of western themed events including the Parada del Sol Parade and Trail’s End Celebration in Old Town Scottsdale. The fun is topped off with five PRCA rodeo performances and two rodeo dances. A portion of all proceeds benefits local charities.

You, your family, and friends won’t want to miss the opportunity to see the action, support the community, and participate in a big  Scottsdale tradition!

Over 300 volunteers are needed for a variety of responsibilities, including greeting guests and spectators, ushering, ticket sales, product sales, and a variety of parade activities. There is something for everyone! Volunteer shifts are typically 4-5 hours and begin approximately one hour before the event starts.
